Diamond Certification
Using current optical technology, diamond laboratories examine diamonds and issue scientific reports called Certificates based on their findings. These independent laboratories use modern scientific equipment and methods to make factual determinations about the characteristics of diamonds submitted to them for review and classification.

Laboratories maintained by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the American Gem Society (AGS), the European Gem Laboratory (EGL) and other groups make no finding as to the value of the gemstones they examine. Diamond Certificates only contain factual information about the individual diamond.
